Peak Performance Martial Arts

Taekwondo is a journey of learning and self growth.  Each step in Taekwondo is recognized with a different color belt symbolizing the completion of study for that level.  The typical time required to achieve a Black Belt is 3 to 3 1/2 years on average per the Kukkiwon.   Be very wary of any Taekwondo institution that produces Black Belts in a shorter time frame.  A Black Belt is something that is earned by learning and practicing the tenets of Taekwondo.  A Black Belt is something that should NOT be fast tracked or be considered an item that can be purchased!!!!  The Black Belts below are in good standing within the Taekwondo community and Peak Performance Martial Arts.  These individuals have made the journey and achieved their Black Belt.

If you have received your Black Belt from Master O'Connell and your picture or name is not below please contact Master O' Connell.
